Hello

I am facing a challenge with creating calculated measures in eazyBI and need some guidance to resolve it .

I am trying to create a calculated measure that has complex logic combining multiple dimensions and measures.
When I write the MDX expression for the calculated measure, I received errors or unexpected results. An error occurred during data import. “Please check your data source configuration and try again.”

I have reviewed the guide ; but I’m still struggling to achieve the desired outcome.

Any tips on how to approach complex calculations would be highly valuable.

Hi @boblewis,

This looks more like a problem with data import options or corrupted data cube rather than problem with calculated measures (the MDX language is used only for calculated measures and members in reports).

What is the status of the data import? Are there still any errors?
Have you experimented with data import from external data sources (like REST API) in that account, made several changes, and haven’t cleaned up the generated data structures before proceeding (documentation on changes in mapping)?

I have revisited the error message and realized that it could indeed be related to data import options or potential data corruption within the cube. I will double-check the data source configuration and verify the integrity of the data to confirm there are no inconsistencies.
I haven’t experimented with importing data from external sources recently, but I’ll explore this option further to see if adjusting import configurations could help resolve the issue. Thanks for sharing Data mapping…#Datamapping-Changesinmapping
