Duplicate hours affecting totals

Hi,

I am producing a report which focuses on hours spent on different components for each epic in Jira. However, some of the components which in Jira, have multiple components assigned to them, then add up the total logged time, whereas that time spent should be for all the components, which then impacts the total of the column. From my screenshot, you can see that for the 3 components which have 4.00 hours allocated to them totalling 12, it should in fact be 4 hours in total. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is the typical behavior when using components (which is imported from a multi-value field) in report if issue has more than 1 component.
The result on total level is doubled.
You would need a function that calculates the distinct sum for each issue.
