Filter Epics by dimension/property without filtering their child issues

Hello! I need a simple report but I´m struggling with the filtering options. We have a set of 5 projects, we need to display the Epics with several properties, and their child issues. We don´t need to display all the epics, but the ones with a certain field value (it is a single select list with just one option, we use it to flag some of the epics), and their child issues. Child issues don´t have that field. So if I filter the column, all child issues are filtered. If I select the value at dimension/page level, I have the same result. If I use the field as a dimension and select all members at level, I can see all epics and their child issues grouped by the field value (“Yes”) and “none” (the ones that I would like to filter out). If I remove the value ‘none’ from the report, all child issues go away and I end up with a list of flagged epics without children.

I´m pretty sure the app can filter just at one level though some calculated member formula, any advice is welcome, thanks!

Hi @Pablo_da_Silva

Thanks for positing your question!
It seems to me that you are looking for a solution described in the documentation page here - Epic level custom field

By importing this Custom dimension “Epic Your Custom field name” it will pass down all the values from Epics to the children and you will not lose any child issues when you add this dimension in the Page filter and then filter your report based on your requirements.

If you have any further questions, please let us know!
