Indeed this is a tricky request. We do have a feature request in backlog and I have added your vote to it.
In the meantime, you may consider trying the following.
I have created a report with 2 measures (Issues Created and Issues resolved) and I have drilled into Status dimension from these measures
When switching to the stacked bar chart, you could then change the type for All “dimension” member to the text as shown in the screenshot below.
