I am having trouble to understand the figures the measure “Average workdays assigned” gives me. I do not get the description found here. What I am looking for is the average timespan issues are assigned to individuals until they have been resolved. The numbers I see are very low and I see many issues that are counted with 0.00. I cannot find a reason why that is.
The average is calculated as the ratio of time issue spent with the assignee to the number of cycles per the assignee. That means, if an assignee has been re-assigned several times to the issue, the average days assigned goes down by how many times the user has been re-assigned. Each time the Assignee is changed triggers a new cycle. Another trigger for the cycle end is the issue resolution date.
