Can you tell me the mdx formula to define count of issues in in progress and open state until the period .

No formulas are necessary. Try adding the Transition Status dimension to columns, and select the measure “Issues history”. With the Time dimension on rows, you will see the number of issues in each status at the end of each Time dimension period. Look at the report in our Demo account - https://eazybi.com/accounts/1000/cubes/Issues/reports/50046-unresolved-issues-by-statuses-over-time.
