Quick bit of help needed with math in calculated formulas

I am looking to accomplish the following:

If the cell has “gold” in it, then This new measure = Number of roles requested * 0.71

I expressed it poorly as:

IF
[Measures].[GSB Tier] = “Gold” THEN
this new measure = [Measures].[Number of roles requested] * 0.71
END

So obviously I don’t know much about what I am doing, but I am interested in learning how to do math equations to populate the new measure I am creating.

Thanks

Solved it

CASE
WHEN [Measures].[G/S/B Tier] = "Gold"
THEN [Measures].[Number of roles requested] * 1
WHEN [Measures].[G/S/B Tier] = "Silver"
THEN [Measures].[Number of roles requested] * 0.71
WHEN [Measures].[G/S/B Tier] = "Bronze"
THEN [Measures].[Number of roles requested] * 0.35
END
