I have many calculated measure that have the same logic as a delivered measure but the user wanted a different measure name on the report. For example, I have changed ‘issue history’ to "Open Issues’ in a new calculated measure. It would be very helpful to have the ability to call the same calculated measure something different in many different reports. ---

Hi, eazyBI currently does not have an option to rename dimensions or measures used in the report, but we have an idea for this improvement, although without a clear estimate yet. I will add your vote to this improvement. Meanwhile we suggest to use a workaround for measures what you already described - creating multiple calculated measures with the same logic but different names for different reports. Hello Gerda, That is what I currently do now. But as you can guess I have over 100+ user defined measures, some of which do the same thing but just named differently. I would like to be able to reduce the number of user defined measures. ---

I am also interested in this functionality. In fact, having report-specific calculated measures would be useful for us in general. Sort of like the “Add Calculated” feature you guys added fairly recently, where those “Cumulative Sum” and “Linear Trend” members don’t exist outside that report. ---

We’ve been having this problem as well. And we did some testing to verify that creating calculated members to rename existing members, like “Issues created”, actually has a performance hit. If we added some functionality to rename measures in the report, rather than as calculated members, it would improve performance. ---

Report specific measures are supported starting with eazyBI version 6.1. ​ Report specific measures are stored in the report and therefore changes in those measures will work for specific report only. We do not update schema at the moment when you save or update any of report specific calculations. Therefore, the report creation and update should be faster. Please note. You would like to remember to **save the report** if you have any change in report-specific measures. We save report specific measures to the server only at the moment when you save changes in the report. I would suggest creating shared measures for cases when many reports start using the same specific measures, and they proved to work as expected and are useful for many reports. Hi Daina, I love using the report specific measures. A neat feature to add would be the ability to convert a report specific measure to a shared measure easily. I find myself creating report specific measure first, then needing them elsewhere quite often. ---

Indeed. I have created a report with report specific measures (like 8 of them) for approval. Now it is approved and I want to create more reports based on these measures. As far as I can see the only option is to manually create those 8 measures in the common domain which is not too user friendly 😕 ---

I agree, it is really a pain not to have the possibility to easily rename report colums. Report specific measures is nice, but it doesn´t solve the main problem, which is eazyBI not being flexible in the edition of table reports ( customization of column head colours. or column names). ---

Further changes towards renaming the measures for a specific report are not planned on the eazyBI roadmap as it would require significant changes in the functionality. For now, you can use report-specific measures and convert them to user-defined measures when needed to share globally: [Calculated measures and members](https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/analyze-and-visualize/calculated-measures-and-members#Calculatedmeasuresandmembers-Reportspecificmeasures).
