Data access roles are an important tool for us to control who can access which data.
For example, each team lead can only access their own team’s data.
However, to ensure that the created Data Access Role functions as intended (only the desired reports/dashboards are displayed, and the data is not tampered with), a second user is required.
Currently, this requires us to always work in pairs, which is rather unproductive, especially when we’re busy.
In our company, user management is also very strict to enhance security, so secondary accounts are not necessarily desired.
Also, since different user roles (starting with “User”) can create reports.
Feature Request: A feature like “View as Data Access Role” would therefore be a useful improvement for us.
