Summary
Add a native Refresh button to eazyBI dashboards so users can reload dashboard data without refreshing the browser.

Problem
Currently, when viewing an eazyBI dashboard, refreshing the browser does not simply reload the currently viewed dashboard. Instead, it kicks the user back to the eazyBI home screen. This creates friction when users need to check for updated data, especially during active reporting, QA review, or sprint/status monitoring.

Requested behavior
Provide a visible Refresh button on eazyBI dashboards that reloads the dashboard’s reports and gadgets in place, while keeping the user on the same dashboard.

Expected outcome
Users should be able to refresh dashboard data without losing their current dashboard context or needing to navigate back from the eazyBI home screen.

Business value
This would improve dashboard usability, reduce unnecessary navigation, and make eazyBI dashboards more practical for real-time or near-real-time review workflows.

Thank you for posting your question!

I have upvoted the existing internal feature request for adding dashboard refresh functionality. While I cannot provide an estimate on when or if this will be implemented, but you will be informed here when/if it’s available

In the meantime, a workaround is to bookmark the dashboard using the Copy dashboard link option:

  1. Open your dashboard in eazyBI.

  2. Click the More actions menu (three dots) in the dashboard header toolbar.

  3. Select Copy dashboard link.

  4. Save this link as a browser bookmark.

Instead of refreshing the browser, simply click the bookmark to navigate directly back to the same dashboard. This avoids being redirected to the eazyBI home screen and keeps you in the correct dashboard context. Here’s more information on the Copy dashboard link
