I’d like to use the “transitions from status issues count” measure, but rename it to something else. I’m not able to show the formula so can’t recreate it as a new calculated measure with my own name. Is it possible for you to share the calculation please?

All the measures that have the “show” button available are measures that do calculations with other measures. The ones that don’t have the “show” button are true measures that contain a numeric value of some sort.
You can define a new calculated measure with a different name and reference the necessary measure in your formula:
