Can't seem to get a report of ticket status by month

Hi!
I’m an eazyBI newbie and I’ve been banging my head against this for a while…I’m just trying to get a report of ticket statuses by month. So I have set up a report with time and issue type in the rows and measures (Issues history=show) and Transition Status in the columns.

I get a table where there seems to be a calculation of (tickets entering status type) - (tickets leaving status type) going on…so if 4 tickets go into ‘In Progress’ and 4 tickets leave ‘In Progress’ for that month, it shows 0 for that month. What I actually want is how many tickets were ‘In Progress’ at the end (or the start, or the middle, I don’t really care) of that month.

Any ideas?

The measure “Issues history” counts issues at the end of the selected “Time” dimension period
If you wish to see how many issues have entered the particular transition status, then you can use the measure “Transitions to status issues count” or measure “Transitions from status issues count” to see how many have left the status.
