Create a calculated member for weeks starting on Saturdays

Hi all:

We need to create a calculated member in Time (or Time weekly) dimension considering weeks starting on Saturdays. This is only for some specific reports so we cannot change the definition for the entire cube.

Thanks for your question.

You can add a custom hierarchy in Time dimension: Custom time hierarchies

Choose Add custom Time hierarchy → Multiple weeks → 1 → pick any Saturday:

You can then use this newly created Weekly hierarchy in your reports to return data in weeks starting on Saturday:

I tried that but it only shows me 2 or more weeks:

Hi @walterdp,

Custom Time hierarchy update was included in eazyBI version 7.0, so you would need to make sure you upgrade eazyBI to the latest version to see the “1 week” option under the Multiple weeks selection.

Hi @walterdp ,

You can change the first day of the week in the Import options, but please note that the first day of the week will be changed for all the reports in that account.

If you need to change the first day to Saturday for specific reports only, you can create a separate account and change the start date to Saturday for that specific account.
