You can re-define in what intervals the dimension members are grouped. E.g., to get weeks, you can group seven days and start the next interval from the eighth:

What about labels? Can we show numbers 1, 2, 3, instead of 0000-0007, 0008-0014?

would be better. But as you can see, you can define custom interval steps as needed.
Unfortunately, renaming the intervals is not easy; we have such an option registered for future development. Currently, I can only suggest that, once you have defined the intervals you like, you can manually add them in a calculated member, which you can rename as needed:
