Is it possible to import and/or display the user’s full name instead of the user’s public name?
The problem is that we are currently unable to easily verify a user name if a user has a different public name in JIRA - we cannot change it in JIRA as public names are displayed for Clients.

The data import into the Assignee dimension should provide the Full name as the dimension member name not the Public name.
Please, try to do the Empty cube in your account and check if that persists: Data from Jira
