Export to word/Excel creates Internal Server 500 error on all exports


Apologies if this is in the wrong area or has been answered before. I am fairly new to eazyBI.

My organisation uses eazyBI for Confluence 6.4.1. Reports have been created for exporting to a word or PDF document.
However when the reported is exported, all content that is live returns the following error:

“HTTP Error 500 when exporting eazyBI macro data”.

This happens with all reports so I will assume its down to the configuration of the tool.

Any help would be appreciated.


Could you check the configuration for PDF export? eazyBI requires Google Chrome for PDF export. Could it be that you do not have installed Google Chrome on servers using eazyBI as described here? Google Chrome is essential for PDF exports to work, also for reports that are embedded as Confluence macros on some page. Please check this, if it is installed and still doesn’t work, then please send eazyBI log files to support@eazybi.com
