My Sprint reports capture the following data:
Number of issues planned
Number of issues added (Sprint Issues Added)
Number of planned stories completed
Number of Unplanned stories completed
Number of points planned
Number of unplanned points in the sprint
Number of planned points completed
Number of unplanned points completed (Sprint Story Points Added)
Total number of points completed (Story Points Closed)
Can anyone help me create Measures for the rest of these columns? There is an abundance of Measure for sprint (in total) statistics, but less so for differentiating planned vs unplanned.
Thank you!
Hi @janedoe2
Welcome to the eazyBI Community!
It seems to me you are looking for built-in measures that are automatically imported when you import Sprint-related data :
Number of issues planned → Sprint issues committed
Number of planned stories completed → Sprint issues completed of committed
Number of Unplanned stories completed → Sprint issues completed of added
Number of points planned → Sprint Story Points committed
Number of unplanned points in the sprint → Sprint Story Points added
Number of planned points completed → Sprint Story Points completed of committed
Number of unplanned points completed → Sprint Story Points completed of added
You can learn more about Sprint scope measures here - Jira Software custom fields

Thank you for the reply! I’m assuming that “Sprint Issues Committed” doesn’t include issues that were in the Sprint and removed as “committed”, which I guess makes sense, if you remove it, you’re explicitly NOT committing to it in sprint. I’m trying to measure the effectiveness of our planning, and for that, I"d need to know a count of ALL issues that were in the sprint when it started, even if they were removed during the sprint. Is there a measure for that, or would I need a custom? And if I need a custom, could you help?
