How Limit Assignee in Assignee field

My assignee field shows all the users in jira, but I want to limit that to only the members in my current project, how can I do that.

Hi,

The most straighforward solution is if you use Project and Assignee dimension in the report pages. You can apply the Nonemtpy pages option and only those assignees that are releveant to the selected project will appear:
