Problem:
Over time, multiple eazyBI accounts are created, and there is currently no easy way for admins to identify which accounts are inactive or unused. This makes governance, maintenance, and cleanup difficult in large Jira instances.
Requested Feature:
Introduce an “Account Activity / Inactive Accounts” view for eazyBI admins that shows:
Last accessed date of each eazyBI account
Last report/dashboard viewed or modified
Last data import or refresh timestamp
Number of active users per account
Expected Benefit:
This would help admins:
Identify and clean up unused or obsolete eazyBI accounts
Reduce clutter and maintenance overhead
Improve license, performance, and security management
Optional Enhancement (Nice to Have)
Filters such as “Inactive for 30 / 60 / 90 days”
Ability to export inactive accounts list
Warning banner for long‑inactive accounts
Optional admin notification or flagging before deletion
Hi Ajay,
Thank you for the feature request! A lot of the information you’re looking for can already be gathered using the built-in Usage Statistics feature in eazyBI.
Once enabled, Usage Statistics creates a dedicated account that tracks:
Active Accounts and Active Users
Report Executions and Active Reports
Active Dashboards
Report execution duration and errors
You can use this data to build your own custom reports and dashboards to identify inactive or underused accounts, see which reports and dashboards are most or least frequently accessed, and spot accounts that may be candidates for cleanup.
To enable it, a Jira system administrator can turn on the Usage Statistics option in eazyBI general/additional settings. Once enabled, a (usage statistics) account will be created and available to administrators, with a set of default reports and a dashboard to get you started right away. See Usage statistics documentation
