I currently have a dashboard that I filter by Fix Version in Jira. I would like the filter drop down to only show unreleased fix versions. Right now, it has All fix version that have ever been created in Jira and it is hard to find the ones you want. This is being used by a lot of folks in the company and I want to make it a bit easier. To show only unreleased fix versions in your dashboard filter, you can use the “By Status” hierarchy in the Fix Version dimension.
In your page filter, instead of selecting from the default hierarchy, switch to Fix Version > By Status > Unreleased Versions.
