Why doesn’t the Dashboard Viewer role grant a user access to a particular dashboard?
despite assigning the “Dashboard Viewer” role to the user account “khadija3,” they are unable to view any dashboards.
This was answered in a ticket. I’m posting the replay of the conversation.
I see that the user sees a collapsed report. There is, however, a very recent bug for the dashboard viewer role that we are working on, where the report icon is misaligned and the “expand” arrow is almost not visible.
Please use the admin role to edit the dashboard, expand the report, and save the dashboard with the expanded report.
This way, the report will show up as expected for the user.
