URLs to link directly to an account or a specific report folder?

This seems like a follow on to https://community.eazybi.com/t/sharing-a-url-for-a-specific-report-or-dashboard/5183…

I would like to be able to send users a link that takes them to a specific page within an eazyBI account such as:

  • the Analyze tab.
  • a specific folder within the Analyze tab. ← this would be top of my list.
  • the Source Data tab.
  • the Dashboards tab.

Is this already available in some way that is not apparent to me or, if not, are there any plans to make this type of linking available?

Thank you for reaching out! This is a great question.

Currently, eazyBI does not support direct links to specific sections like a particular folder in the Analyze tab, the Source Data tab, or the Dashboards tab. The URL in the browser doesn’t update as you navigate within eazyBI (since eazyBI is embedded within Jira Cloud), which makes this kind of linking tricky.

That said, here is what is currently possible:

Linking to a specific report:

  1. Go to the Analyze tab in eazyBI
  2. Right-click on the report name in the report list
  3. Select “Copy Link Address” (or similar, depending on your browser)
  4. Share this link — it will open that specific report directly

Linking to a specific dashboard:

We have released a “Copy dashboard link” feature for eazyBI on Jira Cloud. You can find it under the three-dot menu on the dashboard header toolbar. See the documentation for details:

As for linking to specific folders, the Source Data tab, or the Analyze tab in general — this is not available.

Thanks Martin, understood that it’s tricky. Just hoping that additional endpoints can be added to whatever the solution was for individual reports and dashboards.
