Vertical Today Line for Bar Chart

Hi! I’m using a bar chart to reflect the timeline for our software releases. I would prefer to use the Gantt chart, but the bar chart splits up the phases visually, which is highly requested for our stakeholders. However. we are missing the “today” vertical line date that is present on Gantt charts.

Is there a way to introduce this in our bar chart?

Here is an example of the vertical line from a gantt chant:

Maybe try a new measure as

Now()

Formatting as mmm dd yyy

Then when it shows on the chart, configure it to be a vertical line.

Thanks @David_Horne ! Your solution worked, though it’s not the prettiest. I hope eazyBI enhances bar chart as it seems most folks are leveraging it for time based tracking over the gantt.
