Additional properties import is only possible for single value custom field dimensions.
You need to enable that possibility first by adding additional settings for the particular custom field in the Advanced settings for custom fields.

Adding extra properties to a custom dimension is not a one-step activity, considering it is extra to the custom.
First, you have to add these settings to the advanced import options as described in the documentation section in my previous post and perform double data import - once with the custom field deselected to remove the existing field and for the second time - reselected to be recreated as a dimension in a separate table.
Then you may import additional properties for members of that dimension from an external data source.
